Pong Testing & Certification
Making Science Known
There are a number of products in the market today which claim to reduce cell phone radiation. But turning off your phone will have the same effect! Reducing radiation is not a desirable impact upon your cell phone if it compromises the Total Radiated Power (TRP) of your phone. Your cell phone can be an important safety device. So it must have as much signal strength, and TRP, as possible at all times in order to communicate with the nearest tower if needed. What is desirable is to lower the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) experienced by the user.
In 2002, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) conducted an investigation of the numerous products claiming to reduce SAR. All claims were found to have no scientific basis. But since consumers can't "see" radiation, they have no way of knowing if the product they've purchased actually works or doesn't.
So how do you know Pong works?
- Pong uses real science, not gimmicks, to produce results. Pong's team of scientists includes Ph.Ds. in Plasma Physics, Photon Physics, Electronics Engineering, Cell Radiation Biology and Psychology. And the patented technology in each Pong device is not found in any other product on the market.
- Pong technology is the result of years of research and millions of dollars in development. The antenna in each Pong case is specifically tuned to couple with each specific model of cell phone, because every model of cell phone has a unique antenna with unique radiation characteristics.
- 3. Pong devices have been tested and proven in industry leading laboratories such as CETECOM and RF Exposure Labs. The results repeatedly demonstrate that Pong is the ONLY cell phone case device that substantially reduces cell phone radiation by 60% to 95%, as measured by Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), without compromising your phone's ability to communicate.
When you use Pong technology, you can be sure your cell phone radiation is being redistributed, not reduced. Go to Wired Magazine's article to see an actual SAR test of a Pong device. As the people at Wired Magazine observed, Pong reduced SAR, and did not reduce your cell phone's signal.
CETECOM and RF Exposure Labe perform regulatory services required before release to the US, Canada, and European Union Markets. Specializing in wireless technologies such as GSM, WCDMA, Bluetooth and 802.11x, CETECOM provides radiated and conducted emmisssions and immunity testing for the following:
CETECOM or RF Exposure Lab is a recognized TBC (Telecommunication Certification Body) capable of issuing FCC aprovals. CETECOM and RF Exposure Labs perfomr SAR measurements according to US, Canadian, European, and Australian standards for devices operating within the frequencies of 800MHz and 6GHRz. Such standards are accepted in most countries in the world. Visit the CETECOM and RF Exposure Lab websites for more information.
Specific Absorbtion Rate (SAR) measures the ammount of RF energy absorbed by human tissue from a radio transmitter. Governmental bodies such as the FCC have RF limits that must be met before gaining access to the market. For example , depending on product specification, the FCC requires products used within 20 cm from the head or body to undergo SAR testing.
